Driveways and Parking Lots That Take a Brooklyn Winter

We pave driveways, parking lots and private roads across Brooklyn and the surrounding boroughs. Hot-mix asphalt laid over a compacted base, not a patch job over a mess.

What We Do

Our Services

The asphalt work homeowners and property managers call us for most.

Asphalt Paving

New asphalt laid over a base built to hold it, not just poured on top of dirt.

Asphalt Driveway Installation

A driveway that drains away from your garage instead of pooling at the door.

Asphalt Sealcoating

Slows down the sun and salt damage that turns black asphalt gray and brittle.

Asphalt Crack Repair

Small cracks filled before winter turns them into potholes.

Pothole Repair

Cut out the bad spot and replace it, not just fill the hole with cold patch.

Parking Lot Paving

Striped, sloped and compacted for the weight of the vehicles actually using it.

Who We Are

A paving crew that shows up when we say we will

We pave and repair asphalt driveways, parking lots and private roads across Brooklyn and the surrounding area. Most people call us after a hairline crack turned into a pothole, or a driveway that's been pooling water at the low corner for two winters running. If your existing asphalt is alligator-cracked, sunk near a drain, or just past the point where sealcoating will help, that's the job we take on. We work on homes and small commercial lots, nothing too small to quote.

We don't skip the base. Old asphalt gets milled or torn out, the subbase gets regraded and compacted, and only then does new hot-mix go down in two lifts, a binder course and a wear course, rolled while it's still hot enough to bond. Joints get saw-cut where we want the pavement to move, not left to crack wherever the frost decides. That's the difference between a driveway that looks good for one summer and one that's still flat in five years.

Our old driveway in Brooklyn was basically gravel with a memory. New one drains away from the garage now, first time in years I haven't had a puddle at the door.

Asphalt Driveway Installation · Queens, NY
Had a pothole by the curb that kept coming back after cold patch. They cut it out proper this time and it's held through the whole winter.

Had to move my car twice while it cured, mildly annoying but they told me upfront how long to stay off it. Lot out in Yonkers looks black again, not gray.

Common Questions

Questions we get a lot

Answers to what most people ask before they call about a driveway or lot.

How much does asphalt paving cost in Brooklyn?
Asphalt paving typically runs by square footage and depends on base condition, drainage work needed and the size of the job. A standard driveway repave often falls between a few thousand dollars and higher for larger or full-depth jobs, but the only accurate number comes from measuring the site and checking the current base.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, asphalt paving work is carried out with general liability insurance in place, and certificates of insurance are available before a crew starts on any property.
How soon can you start my project?
Scheduling depends on the season and current workload, since asphalt paving is weather-dependent and books up fast in spring and fall. Most jobs get an estimated start date within one to two weeks of the initial site visit.
What areas do you cover?
Asphalt paving and repair service covers Brooklyn and surrounding areas within roughly 50 miles, including other NYC boroughs and parts of northern New Jersey and Westchester.
Do you work on residential and commercial properties?
Both residential driveways and commercial parking lots are regular work, along with private roads, HOA lots and small business entrances. Job size doesn't need to be large to get a quote.
Will you quote a small job, like one pothole?
Yes, single pothole repairs and small patch jobs get quoted the same as larger paving projects, just with a smaller minimum charge to cover the crew and equipment trip.
How do I get started?
A phone call or a site visit request starts the process, followed by measuring the area and checking the base condition before a written quote goes out. No cost for the initial estimate.
What affects the cost of an asphalt job the most?
Base condition affects cost more than the asphalt itself, since a driveway with a failed subbase needs excavation and new stone before any paving happens. Square footage, asphalt depth and drainage work are the other main factors.
Do you require a deposit?
Larger paving jobs typically require a deposit to schedule the crew and order materials, with the balance due on completion. Smaller repairs are usually paid on completion only.
What happens if it rains on the scheduled day?
Asphalt can't be laid in the rain or on a wet base, so a rained-out day gets rescheduled to the next available slot rather than skipped. Sealcoating needs a full dry day before and after application, so that work gets pushed for forecasted rain too.
